School Edu Dept issues fresh guidelines for govt employees  seeking passports

KINS DESK

Srinagar, Feb 21 (KINS): The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued fresh instructions regarding the submission of Annexure-H for government employees seeking passports.

The circular aims to streamline the process and ensure compliance with existing government regulations.

According to the directive a copy of which lies with news agency KINS, cases of officials seeking Annexure-H must be forwarded through formal communication from the respective Chief Education Officers (CEOs). The circular notes that many applications have been submitted without the required documentation and in violation of Circular No. 35-JK(GAD) of 2021, dated September 16, 2021, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD).

To avoid discrepancies, the DSEK has mandated that all such cases be submitted with the following supporting documents:

  1. Annexure-H, duly signed by the employee, the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO), and counter-signed by the CEO with an official seal.
  2. A certificate verifying the genuineness of the employee’s appointment.
  3. A non-involvement certificate.
  4. Vigilance Clearance Report, along with posting details, as per the updated vigilance clearance format for uploading on the designated portal.

The circular emphasizes that all cases must be submitted exclusively through official channels.

The directive has been issued by the Director of School Education, Kashmir, and circulated to all Chief Education Officers, Principals, Zonal Education Officers, and Headmasters across the region. (KINS)
