Baramulla, Mar 19 (KINS): In a significant leap towards financial empowerment and skill development, Baramulla district has emerged as a model of progress under the Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP). Recognized for its outstanding efforts, the district has been awarded ₹3 crore to further accelerate its transformative initiatives.

Financial Inclusion: Massive enrollment under insurance schemes like PMJJBY and PMSBY, driven by targeted awareness campaigns.
Skill Development: Expanded vocational training programs, empowering women and persons with disabilities.
Digital Literacy: Camps organized in remote areas to equip citizens with essential digital skills.
On-Ground Monitoring: Regular inspections ensuring effective implementation of initiatives.

These initiatives are driving economic resilience, financial security, and digital access, paving the way for a more empowered Baramulla.
