Srinagar, Oct 13 (KINS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday officially filed nominations for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections scheduled on October 24. BJP state President Sat Pal Sharma, along with Dr. Ali Muhammad Mir and Rakesh Mahajan, submitted their nomination papers at the Assembly Secretariat complex in Srinagar.
The candidates were accompanied by Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana, Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, and several party MLAs, highlighting the strong organizational support for the party in the elections.(KINS)
