Govt assigns additional charge to Owais Ahmed as special secretary, planning, development and monitoring department

Srinagar, Oct 24 (KINS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order assigning additional responsibilities to Owais Ahmed, IAS (AGMUT:2014). Currently serving as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.

He has been directed to also hold the charge of Special Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department until further orders.

The decision was formalized under Government Order No. 1385-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued on October 24, 2025, by the General Administration Department (All India Services Section) of the Civil Secretariat, J&K.

The order, aimed at ensuring smooth administrative functioning, has been signed by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, on behalf of the Lieutenant Governor. (KINS)
