LG Manoj Sinha expresses shock and grief over Doda Army vehicle accident

Jammu, Jan 22 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic loss of lives of 10 Indian Army soldiers in a road accident in Doda district.
According to an official press communiqué, the accident occurred when an Army vehicle skidded off the road at Khannitop on the Bhaderwah–Chamba road and plunged into a deep gorge. The tragic incident claimed the lives of 10 brave soldiers, while several others sustained injuries.
The Lieutenant Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the gallant soldiers who lost their lives and to those injured in the accident. He spoke to senior officials and directed them to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured soldiers and extend all necessary assistance to the families of the victims.
In his condolence message, LG Manoj Sinha said, “Deeply saddened at the loss of lives of 10 of our brave Indian Army soldiers in an unfortunate road accident in Doda. We will always remember the outstanding service and supreme sacrifice of our brave soldiers. My deepest condolences to the grieving families. In this moment of profound sorrow, the entire nation stands united with the bereaved families in solidarity and support.”
He further informed that 10 injured soldiers have been airlifted to hospital for treatment and said he has directed senior officials to ensure the best possible care for them. The Lieutenant Governor also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.(KINS)
