Dr Rouf’s wife passes away in Saudi Arabia

Srinagar, Jan 25 (KINS): Dr Rouf’s wife, who had been ailing, passed away on Sunday morning in Saudi Arabia, sending waves of grief across the Valley.
Umar Nazir Tibat Baqal, on behalf of the All Jammu & Kashmir Haj Umrah Tour Operators Association, expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and thanked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for extending unconditional support in facilitating the airlifting process and personally monitoring the situation.
“Though destiny had something else in store, as death keeps no calendar, we are grateful to Chief Minister Jinab Omar Abdullah Sahib for his timely intervention and continuous support,” Baqal said in a Facebook post according to news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS).
He prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family. “May Allah grant her Jannat-ul-Firdous and give Sabr to Dr Rouf and his family in this hour of grief,” he added. (KINS)
