4 J&K Govt employees sacked for alleged terrorist links

Srinagar June 08: The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) administration terminated the service of four government employees citing their involvement in anti-national activities and alleged links with terror outfits.

The employees terminated include two police constables, one teacher and one Jal Sakti department employee who were allegedly involved with terror outfits.

Last year, the Jammu and Kashmir government terminated the services of four government employees, citing their involvement in terror activities.

The terminated employees include a doctor, a police constable, a teacher, and a lab bearer in the higher education department.

The decision was made by sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India, which empowers the government to take such actions in the interest of national security.
