BJP’s Kishan Reddy Criticizes Congress, ‘Credits Modi Government for Peace in Kashmir’

Srinagar, Aug 22 (KINS): In a sharp criticism of the Congress leadership, Union Minister and J&K BJP Assembly Election In-Charge, Kishan Reddy, remarked that it is due to the decade-long efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was able to visit Lal Chowk and enjoy a peaceful evening in Srinagar.
Reddy told reporters, “The peace and stability in Kashmir today are the results of 10 years of dedicated work by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is because of this progress that Rahul Gandhi could safely eat food at Lal Chowk last night. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should inform the nation about the resolution passed by the National Conference and clarify Congress’ stand on Article 370.”
The Union Minister further added that the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, a move supported by the Modi government, was a key factor in restoring normalcy to Jammu and Kashmir. He criticized Congress for their lack of clarity on the issue, saying, “The Congress leadership needs to make it clear where they stand on Article 370. The people of India deserve to know if Congress truly supports the path of progress that the BJP has set for Kashmir.”
