Srinagar, Sep 05 (KINS): Pulwama Police have apprehended a terrorist associate and confiscated a hand grenade from his possession.
As per the police statement, the suspect, Arsalan Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Karimabad, was arrested at a checkpoint established at Karimabad Crossing.
“During the search, the grenade was discovered. Preliminary investigations suggest that Sheikh intended to use the grenade against a security checkpoint, posing a significant threat to both security forces and the public. The timely intervention of the police prevented a potential attack. A case has been filed under FIR No. 182/2024 at PS Pulwama, and further investigations are underway to explore additional links to terrorism”.(KINS)
