Pakistani intruder arrested at the international border in Jammu

Jammu, October 9 : Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have arrested a Pakistani intruder on the international border. Security officials gave this information on Wednesday.

Officials said that Shahid Imran (31), a resident of Sargodha in Punjab, Pakistan, was detained from Makwal on Tuesday evening when he entered India from across the border.

They said that two knives, a ‘smart watch’, a cigarette packet, an empty SIM card holder and a five rupee coin in Pakistani currency were recovered from Imran’s possession.

During interrogation, the intruder told that he had crossed the border unknowingly.

Officials said that after preliminary interrogation, he has been handed over to the police for further action.
