Govt committed to catalyse youth initiatives: Dy CM

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 22: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, said that the Government is committed to catalyze various youth initiatives for creating a vibrant eco-system for honing technical skills of youth so that they can set-up their own income generating units and create jobs for others as well.
The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with a deputation of Heritage Craft instructors who called on him the other day. They also highlighted various issues including opening of admission process in ITI’s for facilitating youth for start up and youth employment schemes.
He assured the deputationists that all the issues highlighted by them would be redressed in a time bound manner. He said that the government is committed to facilitate the youth for undertaking start up programmes and self-employment generating schemes, which would redress the menace of unemployment being faced by the youth.
