CM Omar Abdullah leaves for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah

Srinagar, Nov 25 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah departed for Saudi Arabia on Monday to perform Umrah.
Chief Minister’s advisor, Nasir Aslam Wani, confirmed to news agency KINS that the Chief Minister left for Saudi Arabia today to perform Umrah. “Yes, he has left today to perform Umrah,” Nasir said.
Earlier, Abdullah had shared the news on the microblogging platform X, stating, “Alhamdulillah, political clearance has come. I will be traveling to Saudi Arabia on Monday to perform Umrah and offer prayers at Al Masjid an Nabawi (SAW) in Medina.”
Omar Abdullah had performed Umrah earlier this year also, accompanied by his father, Farooq Abdullah, the president of the National Conference. (KINS)
