Separatism is now history in Kashmir: Amit Shah

New Delhi March 25 (KINS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that separatism has become a thing of the past in Jammu and Kashmir, crediting the Modi government’s policies for unifying the region with the rest of the country.

Shah highlighted that two organizations associated with the Hurriyat Conference have announced their decision to sever all ties with separatism, marking a significant shift in the region’s political landscape.

“I welcome this step towards strengthening Bharat’s unity and urge all such groups to come forward and shed separatism once and for all,” Shah said according to news agency KINS.

He termed the development a “big victory” for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed, peaceful, and unified Bharat. (KINS)
