CM Omar Abdullah demands time-bound, transparent probe into ‘death of Jammu youth’

Srinagar, July 25 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has called for a transparent and time-bound investigation into the death of a resident of Niki Tawi area in Jammu.

Expressing concern over the incident, the Chief Minister as per news agency KINS wrote on X (formerly known as twitter): “The killing of Mohd Parvez of Niki Tawi in Jammu is highly unfortunate & deeply regrettable. Use of force by the police has to be calibrated & cannot be indiscriminate. J&K has paid a heavy price in the past because of incidents such as these.
