PM Modi vows to bring Delhi Blast conspirators to justice, expresses solidarity with victims

Srinagar, Nov 11 (KINS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday vowed that all those involved in the Delhi blast, which claimed 12 lives, will be “brought to justice.”

Addressing a public gathering at the Changlimithang Celebration Ground in Bhutan, the Prime Minister described Monday’s explosion near the Red Fort as a “horrifying incident” that had shaken the entire nation.

“I understand the plight of those affected by the blast. The entire nation stands firmly with the families of the victims,” Modi said. “All those responsible for it will be brought to justice.”

The Prime Minister revealed that he had been in continuous discussions with security and investigative agencies overnight to review the progress of the probe.

“Our agencies will get to the bottom of the conspiracy, and no conspirator will be spared,” he affirmed.

The high-intensity explosion ripped through a slow-moving car at a traffic signal near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, killing 12 people and gutting several vehicles, officials said.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Bhutan earlier in the day for a two-day visit, during which he will participate in the 70th birthday celebrations of the fourth King of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck.(KINS)
