Srinagar, Aug 14 (KINS): Thirty-eight personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police have been awarded the Medal for Gallantry (GM) on the occasion of Independence Day 2026.
The awardees include DIGs Shiv Kumar Sharma and Pande Rajiv Omprakash, SSPs Shobhit D. Saksena and Mushtaq Ahmad, and SPs Nasir Ahmad and Divya D.
The list also comprises six DSPs, three Inspectors, one Sub-Inspector, two Assistant Sub-Inspectors, six Head Constables, eight Selection Grade Constables and five Constables, recognising their acts of courage and dedication in the line of duty.(KINS)
