Srinagar, Sep 09 (KINS): Spanish filmmaker and producer Anna Saura Ramon has described Kashmir as an ideal destination for filmmaking, citing its scenic landscapes, lakes and natural light.
Speaking on the sidelines of the International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir (IFFJK) at SKICC, Srinagar, Saura said there was significant scope for stronger collaboration between Indian and Spanish filmmakers.
She said language should not be a barrier to creative partnerships and expressed hope that filmmakers from both countries would work together on future projects.
Saura also praised the IFFJK, saying such festivals help connect filmmakers and audiences with cinema from different parts of the world. She described her first visit to Kashmir as a positive experience and praised the region’s hospitality. (KINS)
