Srinagar, Oct 27 (KINS): BJP leader and Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Tuesday criticised the expanded Jammu and Kashmir Council of Ministers, alleging a lack of regional, religious and cultural balance.
Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony in Srinagar, Sharma said the government should ensure representation of all regions and communities.
Meanwhile, JKPCC president Tariq Hamid Karra said the Congress had declined to join the government despite discussions with the National Conference.
Four ministers — Ali Mohammad Sagar, Mir Saifullah, Shamim Firdous and Altaf Ahmad Wani (Kallo) — were sworn in on Tuesday. With the reshuffle, two ministers are from the Jammu region, while eight belong to the Kashmir Valley.(KINS)
