Mehbooba Mufti raises concerns over constitutional rights, unemployment at INDIA Bloc rally in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 01 (KINS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday addressed the INDIA bloc’s mega rally in Delhi, where she spoke about unemployment, the economy, constitutional rights and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
During her address, Mufti questioned the government’s record on employment and alleged that assets created by previous governments had been handed over to big business houses.
She also raised concerns over the demolition of houses belonging to poor people and alleged that land was being provided to influential business groups at low prices.
Referring to the BJP’s employment promise, she questioned the progress made in creating jobs and also spoke about the Agniveer scheme, expressing concern over changes in military recruitment.
Mufti also referred to the Ram Temple and made remarks about donations collected in its name.
Speaking about the Constitution, she said people must protect their democratic rights, particularly the right to vote and elect or change governments.
Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti said the people of the region had faced difficult circumstances since 2019 and urged people across the country to remain alert about their constitutional rights.
“Don’t make the whole country Jammu and Kashmir. We are with you. We are with you in your struggle,” she said while addressing the gathering.(KINS)
