Poonch, Apr 29 : Body of a 30-year-old person was recovered under mysterious conditions inside a Maruti car in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Reports reaching said that some passersby found the person lying in an unconscious state inside his car bearing registration number JK12-7551 near district hospital Poonch.
A police officer while confirming the incident said the man was taken to a nearby district hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The officer identified the deceased as Deepak Singh alias Deepu son of Th Shiv Rattan Singh of Khorinar Poonch.
Deepak was working in HDFC bank’s insurance wing, the officer said.
He said the investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of the death.
Meanwhile, a doctor of the hospital said Deepak apparently died due to excessive use of drugs. (GNS)
