COVID-19: J-K records 17 death

Srinagar, May 19 (KINS): Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday recorded its 17th COVID-19 death whereas the number of positive patients crosses 1300-mark.

A health official told news agency KINS, A 55‐year-old, COVID-19 positive patient from Rafiabad, who was COVID positive, died of a cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning at Sher Kashmir Institute of Medical (SKIMS) Soura.

With the fresh death, the total number of COVID deaths in J&K has reached 17, The Srinagar district has reported 5 of the deaths, highest in any district, followed by Baramulla 4, Anantnag 3 while one death each has been reported in Bandipora, Budgam, Kulgam, Udhampur, and Jammu. (KINS)
