LeT militant arrested in Shopian

Shopian, June 12(KINS) : Security forces on Friday arrested an active militant of Lashkar-e-Toiba in South Kashmir’s Shopian district during cordon and search operation.

Reports reaching news agency KINS said, during a cordon and search operation which was launched jointly by Army’s 1 RR, SOG and CRPF at Zainapora Khojpura, an active militant was apprehended along with arms and ammunition.

The arrested militant as per sources identified as Zakir Ahmad Khan of Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit.(KINS)
