Dr Jitendra e-inaugurates PMGSY roads, bridges in J&K


JAMMU SEPTEMBER 30: Union Minister of State PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh, today e-inaugurated various roads and bridges constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Superintendant Engineers PMGSY Circle Reasi and Batote and Executive Engineers PMGSYdivision Kathua, Billawer, Udhampur, Ramnagar, Mahore, Reasi, Ramban, Banihal, Doda, Thathri, Kishtwar, Chatroo and Marwah attended the event through video conferencing.
Dr Jitendra, while highlighting government’s initiatives towards strengthening road connectivity in the UT, said that it is the firm committment of present dispensation that every part of the UT gets a durable road network for rapid growth and development.
He said that the prime objective of PMGSY is to provide connectivity, by way of all weather road to the unconnected habitations in rural areas.(KINS)
