DC for quality disposal of public grievances at Gbl


Ganderbal Feb 01 (KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal Monday called for quality disposal of grievances of the public within the shortest possible time.
The DC said this during a meeting convened here to review the functioning of Integrated Grievance Redressal and Monitoring system (IGRAMS) in the district.
The DC on the occasion took review of disposal of grievances department wise and instructed the officers to ensure quality disposal of grievances of the public within the stipulated time frame.
It was informed that 310 grievances are received on IGRAMS out of which 285 have been disposed while 25 are under process.
While reviewing the disposal of grievances, the DC took strong note against the poor performances of few departments and said action will follow if any laxity is found while addressing the peoples grievances.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ACR, SDM Kangan, CPO, CMO, Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti, R&B and PMGSY, DFO Sindh, ARTO, all Tehsildars, BDOs and other concerned officials. (KINS)
