Srinagar, Oct 25 (KINS) Traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu National highway  resumed on Monday after being closed for two days due to landslides, while  Ladakh and Mughal road remain closed for the third consecutive day, following accumulation of snow, a traffic control room official said.

He said light motor vehicles were allowed to move on either side of the Srinagar-Jammu National highway from this morning onwards after clearing the road of the debris at various places.

However, the prompt action by the authorities who put men and machines into service round the clock to help open the road for the traffic.

He said stranded vehicles on the highway at several places were the first to be allowed to move towards their destinations.
