Police facilitates PCPG meeting in Kulgam

 

Srinagar December 04 (KINS): As a part of Public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Police in Yaripora area of Kulgam. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.

The meeting was chaired by SSP Kulgam Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS. Besides, other senior officers of Police & civil administration including Ex MLA H.S. Bugh Shri Abdul Majeed Larmi, DDC Frisal, DDC Behibagh were also present. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of the area including members of Auqaf Committees, Numberdars, Chowkidars, Traders Federation/Fruit Associations of Yaripora and its adjacent areas.

During the meeting, participants raised various issues of public importance. The chairing officer listened the grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area.

The participants were also requested to co-operate with Police and administration in maintaining law & order in the area and in identifying anti-national & anti-social elements.

The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.( KINS)
