Police in a statement said that Encounter is in progress at Litter area of Pulwama. Area is under Cordon & security forces are on the job. Moreover two SPOs have not reported back to Lines Pulwama. The matter is being investigated.
Separately at Anantnag, militants killed one Territorial Army Jawan this evening. He was fired upon by the terrorists and sustained critical gunshot injuries in the incident.
Identified as Manzoor Beg from Sadoora, he was subsequently evacuated to hospital for treatment were he succumbed. Police is investigating the circumstances of this terror crime.
