Overnight Heavy Snowfall damaged Three Residential Houses in Baramulla Village

Baramulla : Three residential houses were damaged due to heavy snowfall at Banali area in Boniyar of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

According to officials houses of Syed Khan, Ghulam Rasool Mir and Hassan Khan all residents of Banali Boniyar were completely damaged due to heavy snowfall. However no loss of injury have been reported.


Officials further told Kashmir Indepth over phone that all the three families have been safely evacuated as our first priority is to safeguard the precious lives of common masses. Further said that efforts are on to evacuate other snow hit families to safer places.


Pertainally, Kashmir Valley woke up to a wide carpet of snow on Monday as life remained paralysed due to heavy snowfall, even as the weatherman predicted respite from Tuesday.
