DDC, Director RDD review status of developmental projects in B’la

Srinagar, June 08 (KINS): District Development Commissioner  (DDC), Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo along with Director, Rural Development Department, Kashmir,  Qazi Sarwar today reviewed the pace and position of various ongoing developmental projects undertaken by RDD.

The meeting also took review of the implementation of various programmes and schemes including SBM, RGSA and MGNREGA besides others.

On the occasion, the concerned officers were directed to mobilize all the available resources in rural areas so that more and more employment avenues are generated during the present circumstances besides they were also directed to identify all the beneficiaries through Aadhaar seeding under centrally sponsored PM Awas Yojana.

Moreover, DDC and Director stressed the officials to accelerate the pace of work so that all the undertaken works are completed within stipulated  time frame and directions were also issued to them to handover all the completed play fields to the youth so that more and more sports activities are promoted.

Meanwhile, emphasis was laid for productive utilization of available resource and mobilise additional men and machinery to achieve the target within fixed time frame.

They exhorted upon the officials to keep in consideration the related health advisories, especially maintaining social distancing and using safety gears at the work sites.

Among others the meeting was attended by JDP, ACD, BDOs and other officials of the Rural Development Department.(KINS)
