Kashmir Militancy: Will shift focus to north Kashmir: IGP

Srinagar, June 19(KINS):
Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar on Friday said that our focus will be shifted now to North Kashmir by end of this month.


Addressing a joint press conference at the army’s Srinagar based 15 Corps headquarters, post-south Kashmir gunfights, IGP Kashmir said South Kashmir will be free of militancy by end of this month as there are still 12 more days left from the current month.
IGP said in these 12 days, “we will clean remaining militants from South”.


Pertinently, Eight militants were killed in the last 24 hours in the southern region of Kashmir. (KINS)
