Manigah village in Kupwara partially denotified as Red Zone

KUPWARA, July 16(KINS): The administration in Kupwara on Thursdau de-notified Village Manigah as Red Zone.

Issuing the order, which lies with KINS reads, Whereas, Village Manigah was declared as Red Zone by this office order no. DCK/PS/04/713-21, dated 08-04-2020″.

Whereas, aggressive contact tracing and sampling was done in the above mentioned Red Zone to break the chain and contain the spread of virus.

Whereas, 47 days have passed since last positive case was reported on 29-05-2020 in Manigah and and thereby becomes eligible for Denotification as per Criteria mentioned inGovt. Order No. 63-1K 9DMRRR) of 2020, dated 24-06-2020.

Whereas Tehsil level committee Kupwara vide communication No. TK/N/20/199-204, Dated, 16-07-2020 recommended denotication of Red Zone Manigah.

Now, Therefore, as per the SOP in force and on the basis of the recommendation of the Tehsil Level Committee the village Manigah is hereby partially denotified as Red Zone w.e.f 16-07-2020 the order copy reads.(KINS)
