Srinagar, Mar 05 (KINS): Police party of Police Station Khrew arrested 04 persons while they were indulged in gambling at public place in village Mandakpal Khrew.
The arrested persons have been identified as:
- Nazir Ahmad Ganie. S/o Abdul Gani Ganie R/o Kronchu Pampore
- Khurshid Ahmad Mochi S/o Mohammad Subhan Mochi R/o Laroo Kakapora.
- Waseem Ahmad Sheikh S/o Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh R/o Kakapor.
- Mohammad Shafi Ganie S/o Asadullah Ganie R/o Mandekpaul.
Stake money of Rs 4940/= and packet of playing cards have been recovered from the possesion of the arrested persons from the place of gambling.
Case FIR Number 08 /2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Khrew.
General Public has hailed the police action against social crimes.
