Delimitation Commission to meet DEOs during four-day J&K visit

Jammu, Jul 2 (KINS) The Delimitation Commission arriving at Jammu and Kashmir on July 6, will be interacting with the District Election Officers (Deputy Commissioners) during their four-day visit.

 

An official from office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir, here said that the DEOs have been requested to attend the meetings with all data, PPTs and reference material related to the subject, as per schedule.

 

“In case any political party, group or organisation desiring to meet the Commission, can approach the office of DEOs, forward their names immediately to the officers assigned by J&K CEO office, not later than 12 Noon on July 4, so that time slot is allotted to them for meeting with Delimitation Commission,” he said.

 

Meanwhile as per the schedule, the Delimitation Commission will be meeting DEOs of Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian on July 7 between 1200 to 1330 hrs at Pahalgam Club, Pahalgam, with DEOs of Srinagar, Ganderbal, Budgam, Bandipora, on July 7 between 1600 hrs to 1730 hrs.

 

Similarly, in Jammu Division, the Commission will meet with DEOs of Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban in July 8 between 1100 hrs to 1230 hrs at PWD Guest House, Kishtwar and with DEOs of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri and Poonch on July 9 between 0930 hrs to 1030 hrs at Radisson Blu, Jammu.
