Srinagar, Dec 6 (KINS) Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported 108 new covid-19 cases while two persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials spokesman said.
Out of 108 fresh cases 22 were reported from Jammu division and 86 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 337915.
Two deaths, one each from Jammu and Kashmir valley due to the virus during the past 24 hours, the spokesman said and added so far 4483 persons — 2186 in Jammu and 2297 in Kashmir — have died due to the virus.
Moreover, 151 Covid-19 patients recovered and discharged from various hospitals of J&K — 30 from Jammu Division and 121 from Kashmir during the period.
So far 331771 patients have recovered, leaving an active case tally at 1661– 430 in Jammu and 1231 in Kashmir.
They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis “black fungus” reported today. So far 58 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, he said.
The officials also informed that 62071 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the past 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir.( KINS)
