Srinagar, Jan 24: In preparation for the forecasted rain and snowfall expected from January 25, 2024, the SMC is mobilizing its personnel and machinery to tackle the challenges posed by the impending wet weather.
The City Drainage Wing of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has been mobilized to ensure all dewatering stations are fully functional.
Under the directive of the SMC Commissioner, the Superintendent Engineer (SE) Drainage has conducted an on-the-spot review of all dewatering stations across Srinagar City. The proactive measures aim to prevent potential waterlogging and ensure the efficient drainage of rainwater and melted snow.
