Rajnath Singh at Ramban Rally: ‘BJP will make J&K number one in India if voted for power’ ‘We will never allow reverse the abrogation of Article 370’

Srinagar, Sep 08 (KINS): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took a strong stance against what he describes as the Congress Party’s claims to restore Article 370′, asserting that as long as the Bharatiya Janta Party is in power, the article will not be reinstated.
Singh emphasized the BJP’s commitment to maintaining the current status and focused on the significant progress made in Jammu and Kashmir under the party’s leadership.
Singh, addressing the crowd for the first time in Ramban District, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted the ongoing electoral significance of Jammu and Kashmir.
“I am here for the first time, and it is heartening to see your love and support. The people of India and even the world are closely watching the elections in J&K. I assured them that the BJP will form the government here,” Singh said as per news agency KINS.
The Defence Minister praised the increased voter turnout following the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, noting that the percentage of voters had risen.
“Before the removal of these articles, the voter turnout was lower. Since then, we’ve seen a significant increase, reflecting a clear shift in Jammu and Kashmir,” Singh said.
Singh reiterated the BJP’s vision for the future, stating that under their governance, Jammu and Kashmir will become the number one state in India. “Over the past few years, we’ve demonstrated our commitment through development and peace in J&K. With continued support, we will elevate J&K to the top spot in India,” he asserted.
The Defence Minister credited the BJP-led central government for fostering peace in the region, countering claims made by Congress that the removal of Article 370 would lead to unrest.
“People said that J&K would burn after Article 370 was removed, but we’ve created an atmosphere of stability. No one has the courage to disturb this peace,” Singh added.
Addressing concerns about the potential restoration of Article 370, Singh confidently stated that the BJP would not allow its return. “If the Congress has the courage, let them attempt to restore Article 370. However, I can assure you that no one will dare to reverse the abrogation because the people are happy with the changes,” Singh said.
Singh also highlighted the transformation of Jammu and Kashmir from a region known for terrorism to one recognized for tourism and development. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Singh noted that 38,000 crore rupees have been invested in J&K since 2019, with plans to develop border villages to further enhance growth.
In conclusion, Singh promised continued protection and development for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that the BJP’s policies will ensure lasting peace and prosperity in the region.(KINS)
