Srinagar, Oct 4 (KINS): The Executive Body of the Retired Judicial Officers Association, led by former District and Sessions Judge Harbans Lal, today honored Justice Tashi Rabstan for his appointment as the 37th Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
During the meeting, the association discussed various welfare concerns of retired judicial officers and briefed the Chief Justice on their ongoing activities. They also praised Justice Rabstan for his proactive approach in upgrading the judicial system in the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh, emphasizing his commitment to ensuring justice reaches even the most marginalized.
Chief Justice Rabstan expressed his gratitude, saying, “It is an honor to step into this role, and I am deeply committed to upholding the values of justice, fairness, and integrity. Together, we can work towards a judiciary that not only meets the needs of our community but also sets a benchmark for excellence.”
The event concluded with a call for unity and cooperation within the judicial community, reinforcing the collective goal of fostering a just and equitable society.
