Restoration of J&K Statehood a policy matter, not political: BJP Chief Ravinder Raina

Jammu , Oct 26 ( KINS) : Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina stated that the restoration of statehood to the Union Territory is a policy matter rather than a political issue, emphasizing the need for caution given the region’s history of suffering due to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism over the past 35 years. Raina made these remarks during a BJP event in Udhampur district on Accession Day, commemorating Maharaja Hari Singh’s 1947 signing of the Instrument of Accession, which formalized Jammu and Kashmir’s integration with India.
Raina extended warm wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, expressing confidence that every citizen would continue to work diligently for national unity and uphold the tricolor with patriotism and dedication.
