Two soldiers killed in suspected IED blast in J&K’s Akhnoor: Army

Jammu, Feb 11 (KINS): Two Army soldiers were killed in a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

Army’s White Knight Corps spokesperson said the blast was reported in Laleali in Akhnoor Sector during a fence patrol, resulting in two fatalities.

He said the troops are dominating the area and search operations are underway.

The Army also paid tributes to the sacrifices of two gallant soldiers.
