PM Modi Extends Air Force Day Greetings

Hails Indian Air Force as Symbol of Bravery and Precision

Srinagar,Oct 08 (KINS):Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended his greetings to all the personnel of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and their families on the occasion of Air Force Day, lauding their courage, discipline, and unwavering dedication to the nation.

In his message, the Prime Minister said, “Greetings to all the courageous Air Warriors and their families on Air Force Day. The Indian Air Force epitomises bravery, discipline and precision. They have played a vital role in safeguarding our skies, including during the most challenging situations.”

PM Modi also praised the IAF’s humanitarian contributions, particularly their timely assistance during natural disasters. “Their role during natural calamities is also very commendable. Their commitment, professionalism and indomitable spirit continue to make every Indian proud,” he added.

Air Force Day, celebrated annually on October 8, marks the establishment of the Indian Air Force in 1932. The day is observed with parades, fly-pasts, and ceremonial events across the country to honour the selfless service and sacrifices of the Air Warriors who protect India’s airspace.(KINS)
