Azad appeals for maximum voting

Jammu , Oct 1 : ( KINS ) The third and final phase of voting is being held in Jammu and Kashmir on October 1. On this occasion, many voters cast their votes for the first time and expressed their enthusiasm. Apart from this, Democratic Progressive Azad Party President Ghulam Nabi Azad also appealed to the people to vote as much as possible.
Ghulam Nabi Azad, while talking to media , said, “My appeal to everyone is that today is the third and final phase of elections. People should go to the districts where voting is taking place today. More and more people should go to their polling area and vote.”
It is worth mentioning that voting is on Tuesday for 40 assembly seats of Jammu and Kashmir. For this, elections are being conducted at 5,060 polling stations. Security forces personnel are deployed at the polling stations. Special arrangements have also been made for sick and disabled voters. During this time, voting is being held for 40 assembly constituencies in Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur districts of Jammu division and Baramulla and Kupwara districts of the valley.
There are 39.18 lakh voters in the third phase of Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections who will decide the political fate of 415 candidates. Voting will end at 6 pm while counting of votes will take place on October 8 .( KINS)
