KU announces winter break from January 1 to February 23

Srinagar Dec 18 (KINS): University of Kashmir (KU) on Wednesday announced winter vacations for its main campus and satellite campuses, effective from January 1 to February 23, 2025.
According to an official notification issued by the Joint Registrar, the teaching departments will remain closed during this period. However, departmental offices will continue to function as usual.
“The heads, directors, and coordinators of the departments, satellite campuses, and centers shall ensure that examinations and other scheduled activities are conducted without disruption,” the notification stated, according to news agency KINS.
The university also directed departments to organize remedial classes in offline or online mode, if necessary, to complete the remaining syllabus during the winter break. (KINS)
