MLA Yudhvir Sethi inspects SMGS Hospital, reviews patient care and Facilities

Jammu, May 26 (KINS): Senior BJP leader and MLA from Jammu East constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, conducted a comprehensive inspection of Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital in Jammu on Sunday to assess the quality of medical facilities and ensure efficient patient care.

Accompanied by Medical Superintendent Dr. Dara Singh, the MLA as per news agency KINS visited various wards and departments of the hospital, interacting with both staff and patients to gain firsthand insight into the functioning and challenges of the healthcare institution.

During the visit, Dr. Singh apprised the MLA of several pressing infrastructural issues. These included the need for a dedicated parking area, a park for patients and attendants, and the installation of additional water coolers to meet the growing demand during the summer season.

Responding to the concerns, MLA Sethi assured that he would raise the matter with the relevant departments to expedite the necessary improvements. “Healthcare remains a top priority. We are committed to providing a clean, accessible, and patient-centric environment at SMGS Hospital,” he stated.
