Srinagar, Oct 6 (KINS): MLA Central Shalteng and President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, Tariq Hameed Karra, on Monday conducted an extensive tour of his constituency to review ongoing developmental works and assess public grievances.
During the visit, Karra held on-the-spot meetings with concerned officers and instructed them to take prompt and effective measures to address developmental challenges and other issues affecting the residents.
Emphasizing the vulnerability of low-lying areas, particularly Bemina and its adjoining localities, Karra said these regions remain at high risk during heavy rainfall or flood-like situations. He urged officials to prioritize preventive measures and strengthen drainage and flood management systems to avoid any eventuality.(KINS)
