Srinagar, Oct 09 (KINS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Kashmir, has ordered a series of transfers and postings of Tehsil Supply Officers (TSOs) and Assistant Storekeepers (ASKs) across multiple districts.
News agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) reported that as per Order No. 820-DFCS&CAK of 2025, dated 08 October 2025, the reshuffle has been carried out in the interest of administration, covering key circles in Baramulla, Kupwara, Pattan, Sopore, Uri, Karnah, Keran, and Pahalgam.
According to the order, the following officials have been transferred or assigned additional responsibilities:
Shabir Ahmad Khan, TSO Pattan (also holding additional charge of TSO Singhpora), has been transferred and posted as TSO AC RF Mill Awantipora against an available vacancy.
Suhail Sharif Wani, TSO Boniyar ‘A’, has been posted as TSO Pattan Circle.
Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, TSO Sopore ‘A’, has been posted as TSO Singhpora Circle.
Manzoor Ahmad Dar, TSO Uri ‘B’, will look after the work of TSO Boniyar ‘A’ in addition to his own duties until further orders.
Nasir Ahmad Khan, TSO Sopore ‘B’, will look after the work of TSO Sopore ‘A’ alongside his existing responsibilities.
Zulqadar Khan, TSO Karnah ‘A’, has been transferred and posted as TSO Keran Circle.
Waheed Ahmad Bhat, TSO available with the office of Assistant Director Kupwara, will take charge of TSO Karnah ‘A’ Circle.
Fayaz Ahmad Ahangar, TSO available with the office of Assistant Director Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as TSO Pahalgam Circle.
Javaid Ahmad Bhat, ASK currently posted in the office of AD Stores, has been transferred as ASK at FSD Kupwara.
Khalid Farooq Bhat, ASK at Thayan Granary, has been posted as Storekeeper at Lountha Granary/Sale Centre.
Aleem Nabi Mir, ASK available with the office of Assistant Director Kupwara, will take charge of Tadd Sale Centre, Karnah Circle.
Furthermore, Javaid Ahmad Bhat, SK, and Rafiq Ahmad Dar, ASK, who are presently attached with the Directorate of FCS&CA, Kashmir, have been directed to report to the Assistant Director, FCS&CA Kupwara, for further duties.
The order, issued by the Deputy Director (Administration), FCS&CA Kashmir, has been forwarded to the Assistant Directors of Kupwara, Baramulla, and Mills for information and necessary action.
This administrative reshuffle is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations, enhance accountability, and ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential commodities to consumers across the Kashmir division.(KINS)
