Tral, Aug 31 (KINS): A delegation of the Aaya Association JK, headed by State President Mehmooda Akhter, met Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama Anjum Raja and discussed various issues confronting Aayas working across the district, particularly in Zone Lorgam.
The delegation included State Secretary Baseera Akhter, Zone Lorgam Vice President Zamrooda Akhter and other members of the association.
The representatives highlighted their concerns before the CEO and sought timely intervention for their resolution. ZEO Lorgam Razia Sultana and Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee Chairman Saleem Sagar were also present during the meeting.
The CEO gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that the concerns raised by Aayas working in the area would be examined and addressed at the earliest.
The association later thanked the concerned officers for their positive response and consideration of the issues raised by its members.(KINS)
