KUPWARA, JUNE 12: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of Engineers from PDD, Jal Shakti and Irrigation departments and asked them to accelerate the developmental tempo in the sub division.
On the occasion the ADC directed the concerned officers to strictly follow the guidelines and maintain better water and power supply besides ensure repair of poles, conductor and transformers.
The ADC stressed upon the concerned agencies to monitor the execution of ongoing works in the subdivision, he also reviewed the status of various irrigation canals and asked the concerned engineers to ensure proper desilting of khuls to avoid difficulties to farmers.
Among others Tehsildars and representatives of various areas and senior citizens attended the meeting.
