REASI, JULY 17( KINS ): Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Jyoti Rani Salathia today convened a meeting with the Chairpersons of Block Development Council (BDC) and discussed execution of plan works of Rural Development Department (RDD). She also redressed the issues and concerns of their respective areas.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Anirudh Rai; AD Planning and Block Development Officers (BDOs).
On the occasion, the BDC Chairpersons also raised several issues of their areas including start of works, augmentation of drinking water supply, reducing unscheduled power cuts, health related facilities, upgrading of roads, completion of pending building works, shortage of staff in RDD etc.
The ADDC took block wise review of MGNREGA, Capex budget, PMAY-G, 14th FC and other schemes. A detailed status report was presented by the officers in one to one discussion.
Meanwhile, BDOs were instructed by ADDC to arrange regular monthly meetings of Chairpersons with PRIs and other departments to resolve issues confronting them. ( KINS )
