DC Srinagar inaugurates Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) for the public at Shalimar

Facility will address banking needs of people beyond working hours and during all days of the week: DC Srinagar
SRINAGAR JUNE 20:- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today inaugurated Cash Recycler Machine(CRM) of Jammu and Kashmir Bank for public here at Shalimar Branch of J&K Bank with the aim to carry forward the ease-of-banking mission in Srinagar District by expanding digital and alternate channels of network.
The CRM was dedicated to the public by the Deputy Commissioner in presence of Lead District Manager(LDM), Srinagar, Abdual Majid and Zonal Head Jkbank, Shabir Ahmad, besides, Cluster Heads, Branch Head and a large number of customers, Senior Citizens and local residents, besides Officials of the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated the JK Bank Officers for the public friendly initiative.
The DC also urged the gathering present on the occasion to avail benefits and ease of digital banking services.
The DC hoped that the facility would address the banking needs of people beyond working hours and during all days of the week including holidays. He also urged on growing focus on digital and alternate banking channels for the convenience of the customers and people at large.
Earlier, the DC was apprised that the idea behind the installation of Cash Recycler Machine Machine(CRM) is to reduce footfall at the branches so that the quality of services provided at the branch can be improved.
