J&K Police Chief Approves Financial Aid for 20 Martyrs’ Wards Pursuing IAS/JKAS Coaching

Srinagar, Feb 12: In an ongoing effort to support the families of fallen police personnel and Special Police Officers (SPOs), the Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, R.R. Swain, has approved financial aid for 20 wards of martyred officers pursuing coaching for IAS/JKAS exams.
This assistance, drawn from the J&K Police Pariwar Fund, amounts to Rs. 9,000 per month for 18 beneficiaries and Rs. 3,000 per month for 2 beneficiaries for the months of September, October, and November 2023.
The aid aims to facilitate the educational pursuits and personal development of these deserving individuals.
The AIG of Police (Welfare) will oversee the transfer of funds to the nodal officers for further distribution, underscoring the commitment of the Jammu & Kashmir Police to the welfare of its personnel and their families.
